Muzzy is the only company currently making full exhaust systems for the Ninja 250.

Two Brothers Racing has recently started making slip-on cans for the Ninja 250.  They can be found [http://www.twobros.com/cgi-bin/shopper?search=action&keywords=ninja_ex250&searchstart=0&template=Templates/TBRSearchResult-Simple-KAWA-EX250_SO_06.html here]. SuperTrapp/Kerker makes universal-fit cans, but you would have to figure out how to mount them, and they are priced about the same as a full Muzzy system. Your dealer may have a better idea of what's available than what you can find on the internet.

Two Brothers Racing recently got into the Ninja 250 exhaust game with [http://www.twobros.com/cgi-bin/shopper?search=action&keywords=ninja_ex250&searchstart=0&template=Templates/TBRSearchResult-Simple-KAWA-EX250_SO_06.html a set of slip-on cannisters].  TBR list price is $414 as of this writing.  Their [http://www.twobros.com/Cust_Service/Dyno_Charts/dyno_kawa_ex250_2006.pdf dyno chart] shows a slight increase in HP and torque, and a noticeable smoothing of the curve.  Their [http://www.twobros.com/Cust_Service/Install_Inst/005-1590406D_Inst.pdf installation instructions] suggest that installation of their cans is quite straightforward.  As always, manufacturer claims of increased power should be taken with a grain of salt.

As of this writing, we have no reports of experience with this product.  If you decide to purchase this system, please post your experience to the board for inclusion in the FAQ.  The TBR system has received a reasonable amount of attention among users who are interested in an aftermarket exhaust system.

We're really sick of this one. Using an aftermarket exhaust will cause your engine to flow more air, making it run leaner. This means that you will have to adjust your bike's intake if you change the exhaust.
If you want your engine to last longer and perform better, you'd be well advised to check the jetting. If you don't want to rejet after changing your exhaust, we're not going to stop you. Just don't come whining to us.
